Customer Quality Engineer

Customer Quality Engineer. An individual that helps our organization to follow in timely manner needs and requirements from our Customers. The Customer Quality Engineer provides direct support at a multisite level and it is the main contact from our Customers to our Production line for problem resolution or Customer needs, manages Customer programs/projects from initiation through delivery interfacing with both internal/external customers and stakeholders, also follows Quality escalations starting with the analytical investigation through the timely development and delivery of a solution, proactively engage with customers and account teams to identify improvement and opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and participate in meeting of customer complaints, also monitoring implementation of containment/corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Prepare gather production team the final reports of corrective actions defined to solve a problem reported by the customer, example: 8D Reports.
  • Coordinate necessary activities with team of materials, production, process audits and out coming audits to guarantee the actions of contention. Mainly of product that has been delivered of the plant, in transit or finished goods.
  • Be main contact with external customers in case of quality items.
  • Elaborate quality alerts at the moment of receive customer complain.
  • Coordinate return of defective parts of customer and assure the analysis of them with the multifunctional task.
  • Coordinate with Service Centers (Multi Site) the activities of guaranties: Investigation, corrective actions and response to customer.
  • Responsible of monitoring and react about the customer’s evaluations of customer. (Customer Scorecard), Negotiate NCEs, and coordinate customer visit, etc.
  • Responsible to create audits of specific requirements of customer specifics (Customer Specific Requirement Audits) and assure the following and achievement, also to upload in data base accordingly annually or each time that happened an update.

Required Skills, Knowledge And Education

  • S. Engineering.
  • Communication and Leadership abilities
  • Fully bilingual (English-Spanish)
  • Strong background in root cause analysis, corrective actions implementation and their validations.
  • Disposition to travel as required
  • Visa and passport required.
  • Experience in Monitoring and analysis data of process audits and statistical process controls and define the corrective actions.
  • Knowledge in Problem solving tools.
  • 8Ds methodology.
