Master Scheduler


• Ensure robust SIOP Demand-Forecast -Supply and Capacity processes are in place and observed to meet customer requirements in a timely manner
• Follow and enhance supply programs to meet/exceed customer requirements, and to improve current levels of Inventory
• Develop and maintain master production schedule
• Review and update production schedules and material requirements, including sub-contracted components
• Accountable to verify orders are properly scheduled in our MRP/ERP systems, resolve scheduling conflicts and maintain the data integrity of the Switchboard Assembly master schedule.
• Accountable to provide timely communication to both internal and external customers related to order status including advance warnings of shipping delays, shipment confirmations and rescheduling notices.
• Accountable to make decisions related to production priorities and expedites based on the overall business and customer needs. You will adjust forecasted daily and weekly capacity and product mix.
• Accountable to Identify capacity constraints and work with the Operations team to re-balance load and identify areas where additional installed capacity is needed
• Work proactively with other functional areas for Engineering Change implementations
• Review material shortages, stock outages, safety stock levels, and determine optimal planning parameters to support customer requirements while maximizing operational efficiency
• Track and monitor revenue attainment, and risk to the plan
• You will track major project milestones and key job characteristics of released and planned releases of orders to provide accurate forecasting information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or a combination of those functions. 

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Planning / Scheduling in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with complex planning and forecasting
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
• High proficiency with Excel
• Analytical and detailed-oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Prefer experience in Contract Manufacturing
• Prefer experience in a machining job shop production environment
• Prefer an ability to manage a high-mix environment, with multi-level BOMs
• Prefer good statistical skills.
